The London Pro Arte Orchestra has been invited to appear at this year's Tidworth Festival, where it will bring its renowned Music in Flight programme to Perham Down, near Salisbury, on Friday, 24 July at 7.30pm. For further details, please visit www.musicinflight.co.uk

 

'Leaders shine' - On Sunday, 6 September the London Pro Arte Orchestra returns to the Gordon Craig Theatre, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, in a programme entitled Mozart plus. The LPAO's leader, Robert Salter plays two Mozart Rondos for violin, KV 269 in B flat and KV 373 in C, alongside Symphony No 29 in A, and works by Grieg and Gossec. On Thursday, 19 November, London Pro Arte Baroque will give a concert at the Elgiva Theatre, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, when LPAB leader, Catherine Martin, will play JS Bach's Double Violin Concerto in D minor, BWV 1043 with Miki Takahashi, and the Concerto for Oboe and Violin, BWV 1060, with James Eastaway. Also included in the programme are works by Handel, Muffat and Wassenaer. Artistic Director, Murray Stewart conducts both concerts. See the Future Engagements page for full details.
